Store reviews with moderation and public replies

Shipped on 5 September 2026

Buyers judge the shop as well as the product: how fast it shipped, how it was packed, how a question was handled. Store reviews give that feedback its own page.

What you get

  • A /reviews page on your storefront for reviews of the store.
  • Kept separate from product reviews, which stay on product pages.
  • Staff can hide a review.
  • Staff can reply publicly, and the reply shows under the review.
  • A filter in the cabinet to switch between store reviews and product reviews.

How it works

Buyers leave reviews about your store, and they appear on /reviews. In the cabinet, staff see them in the reviews section. A filter separates store reviews from product reviews, so each kind can be handled on its own.

For each review, staff can write a public reply. It appears under the review on the storefront, so other shoppers see how the store responds. If a review breaks your rules, for example spam or abuse, staff can hide it.

Why this matters for your store

A page of store reviews builds trust with new buyers who do not know you yet. Public replies show that someone is listening, which often counts for as much as the review itself.

Moderation keeps the page useful. Hiding is a tool for clear abuse; a thoughtful reply is usually the better answer to criticism, and buyers notice when a store handles it well.

Keeping store and product reviews apart keeps both readable: product pages talk about the product, and the reviews page talks about you.

What we verified

We checked the review moderation migration, the cabinet endpoints for hiding and replying, the store versus product filter, and the /reviews template on the storefront.
