Order list and order card with status history
Shipped on 25 August 2026
An order passes through several hands before it reaches the buyer. RedCart keeps one order list for your team and a card for each order that shows where it is and how it got there.
What you get
- An order list in the cabinet, with 10, 25, 50 or 100 orders per page.
- An order card for each order.
- Eight statuses: created, pending, paid, packed, shipped, received, cancelled and failed.
- A history on the card: every status change is recorded with its time.
How it works
Your team opens the order list, chooses how many orders to show per page, and opens any order to see its card. On the card a staff member moves the order to its next status, for example from packed to shipped.
Each change is written to the order's history together with the moment it happened. The card therefore shows the current status and the whole sequence that led to it. If a buyer asks when their parcel left, or a colleague wonders why an order was cancelled, the answer is on the card.
The statuses cover the normal flow of an order, from created to received, and the two endings you also need to handle: cancelled and failed.
Why this matters for your store
A shared list and clear statuses mean everyone on the team sees the same picture. The status history removes guesswork when you need to check what happened to an order and when.
Later updates built on this: shipment tracking events, returns after delivery and reviews from buyers whose orders were received all use the same order and its statuses.
What we verified
We checked the order and order event tables, the cabinet endpoints that list orders and update their status, the screen with the order card, and the page size options.
If you handle orders every day and want to try this with your team, join early access. Your feedback on the order card is welcome.
