Size and colour combinations built for you

A T-shirt in four sizes and three colours is twelve sellable items. Typing each one by hand is slow and easy to get wrong. In RedCart you describe the axes once and the cabinet builds the combinations.
What you get
- Options such as size or colour, defined once and shared across products.
- On each product, you tick the axis values it actually comes in.
- When you save, the cabinet builds the SKU combinations from the ticked values.
- Colour axes use a colour picker, so each colour value carries a real colour.
How it works
First you create an option, for example "Size" with the values S, M, L and XL. The option lives at store level, so every product can reuse it instead of starting from scratch.
On a product you choose which axes apply and tick the values that exist for it. One shirt might come in S to XL, another only in M and L. When you save the product, the cabinet creates one SKU for each combination of the ticked values. Each SKU can then carry its own price like any other.
For a colour axis you pick each value with a colour picker rather than typing a name only. That way each colour value is stored as an actual colour, not just a word.
Why this matters for your store
Shared options keep naming consistent: "Size" means the same thing on every product. Building combinations on save removes repetitive data entry, and it means a missing size is a box you did not tick rather than a row you forgot to type.
What we verified
We checked the option tables, the API change that attaches option values to a product and builds SKU combinations, and the options screens in the cabinet.
