Personal discounts without a code
Shipped on 5 September 2026
Promo codes work when you announce a campaign. Personal discounts work the other way around: the store notices a moment that matters to one buyer and makes them an offer, with no code to type.
What you get
- Four rules for signed-in buyers:
- Birthday, with a window in days that you set.
- Lifetime spend, once a buyer passes a threshold you set.
- No purchase in a number of days you choose.
- An item left in the cart for a number of days.
- A percent or fixed reward for each rule.
- One rule at a time, chosen by the priority you set.
- An offer banner on the storefront for the buyer it applies to.
How it works
All rules start switched off. You turn on the ones you want, set their numbers and reward, and order them by priority. When a signed-in buyer matches a rule, the storefront shows them a banner with the offer. If several rules match, only the one with the highest priority applies, so discounts never stack by accident.
Why this matters for your store
A birthday discount, a thank-you after a buyer has spent a lot with you, or a nudge after a long pause feel personal because they are. They reward loyalty without making every buyer hunt for codes.
These rules use the buyer's birthday and purchase history, which is personal data. Make sure your store's privacy policy covers this use before you switch them on; the privacy page is one of the pages you can edit in the cabinet.
What we verified
We checked the personal promo migration, the rule engine and its priority order, the rules screen in the cabinet, and the offer banner on the storefront.
