Find products, orders and customers from the cabinet header

Shipped on 25 August 2026

When a customer calls about an order, you want to find it in seconds, not scroll through pages. The RedCart cabinet now has search built into the header and into the lists.

What you get

  • A search field in the cabinet header that shows suggestions while you type.
  • Suggestions across products, orders and customers in one place.
  • List toolbars that filter the list as you type.

How it works

Start typing in the header and the cabinet suggests matching products, orders and customers under the field. You do not need to know in advance which section the record lives in, because the header looks across all three.

Each list also has its own search in the toolbar. On the product, order or customer list, start typing and the list narrows down to the matching rows.

The header search went live at 11:17 on 25 August. Twenty minutes later, at 11:37, we switched it to search as you type, so results update with each letter you type.

Why this matters for your store

Search in the cabinet is a tool for daily work. Staff answering questions, packing orders or fixing a product description reach the right record faster. That matters most as the catalog and order history grow, when browsing lists page by page stops being practical.

This is separate from the search your buyers use on the storefront. Cabinet search is for you and your team and covers records buyers never see, such as orders and customers.

What we verified

We checked the cabinet change that added header suggestions, the change that made search update as you type, and the list toolbars on the products, orders and customers screens.

If your team spends time hunting for orders, try this in your own cabinet: ask for an early access invite.
