A blog on your storefront, separate from news
Shipped on 5 September 2026
Some things you want to tell buyers are short announcements. Others are longer: a guide to choosing the right size, the story behind a product, care tips. RedCart gives those longer pieces their own home, a blog on your storefront.
What you get
- A blog feed on your storefront at
/blog. - Its own editor in the cabinet.
- Its own layout on the storefront.
- Kept separate from the news feed at
/news.
How it works
You write blog posts in the blog editor in the cabinet and publish them to /blog. Each post gets its own page, and the blog has its own layout, so articles look like articles rather than short updates.
News and blog are two different feeds. News carries announcements, the blog carries content people read at leisure. Each has its own editor, so your team does not mix them up, and each has its own place on the storefront, so buyers know where to look.
The blog tables were part of the store schema from its first day, 24 August. The finished feed, with its editor and storefront pages, went live on 5 September.
Why this matters for your store
Helpful articles answer questions buyers have before they buy, and they give people a reason to visit even when they are not shopping. Keeping the blog apart from news means your announcements stay short and your articles get the space they need.
What we verified
We checked the blog schema, the blog editor in the cabinet, the /blog routes and the blog templates in the default theme.
